Ruby Valentine (AKA Cloé Leclair) is a social worker/counsellor that obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work in 2019 from l’Université de Moncton, in New Brunswick. She has worked in that field for five years during which she developed an immense passion for advocacy and counselling that led her to starting a private practice. She works as a counselor and psychosocial therapist.

Valentine has previously worked with clients that have been diagnosed with Autism (ASD), intellectual disabilities and other mental health disorders. She has experiences working client that struggle with anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, motivational and organizational problems, complex family and relationships issues and those that suffer from self-esteem issues. Valentine has worked with families, individuals and couple throughout her career. She is extremely passionate about providing appropriate mental health care that is unique and personalized.

Her mission is now as it has always been, to guide client’s into achieving their highest potential while also considering their unique dreams and goals are. Her success in her field, seeing clients achieve positive outcomes, led to a next step up the ladder with a private practice.

Valentine’s next step naturally became setting up her own practice. Tired of the limitation of her 9-5, she is ready for a new chapter in her journey. Having her own practice will finally open up the door to have room in her life to focus on her own artistic endeavours. By opening her own counselling practice, Valentine is fulfilling her dream of having counselling clients while continuing to offer hair and makeup services as well as the leg room to keep exploring creative projects. After all, being a therapist, Valentine had the knowledge and experience to level up because this was her path to balance and happiness.
